Benefits of a peristaltic pump
The biggest advantage of dosing with a peristaltic pump is its high chemical resistance and low maintenance. Because only the hose comes into contact with the liquid to be metered, the chance of the pump being affected by chemicals is virtually nil. You only need to replace the peristaltic hose every so often. Watson Marlow even supplies patented pump heads for its QDOS series that are very easy to replace.
