These biological tablets are specially designed to effectively tackle odours from your rainwater harvesting system, collection tank or rain barrel and prevent algae build-up. Easy to use and space-saving!
These tabs are ideal if you are looking for a biological (maintenance) product for your rainwater tank.
There are no chemicals in this product and it is therefore not harmful to your plants or garden. You can safely use the water from your rainwater tank.
These tablets are full of good bacteria and enzymes which, once in the rainwater storage, will feed on the organic pollutants. They do this in a way that does not cause any odour. These bacteria and enzymes break down the organic sludge present in the tank in an organic way.
The use is simple, you dose the tabs in the rainwater tank and they slowly dissolve in the water. For the dosage, look under the tab: Manual.

Do these tablets have a danger label?
No, these products are completely organic and therefore contain no chemicals. This makes them hazard-free. Of course, it is always wise to keep this product out of reach of children.
How many tablets do I need for my rainwater tank?
This depends on the size of your tank. For the exact dosage, please refer to the Guide tab. It contains the exact dosage schedule.
For a tank up to 5000 litres: a starting dose of 4 tablets, then 2 per month.
For a tank up to 10000 litres: a starting dose of 8 tablets, then 4 per month. etc.
For a tank up to 5,000 litres, a strip of 12 tablets would be enough for half a year.
Can I use Bio Recup Tabs all year round?
It is best to use the tablets at temperatures above 10 degrees.
Do the tablets break down all the waste in my rain barrel?
The tablets are designed to break down all the organic material in the tank. However, they cannot break down sand.
Can I use the water from my tank as drinking water for my animals?
Our product is not harmful or toxic, but we do not recommend its use as drinking water, even for animals.
