But let’s start at the beginning. Where does that sewer smell in your home actually come from? The drains in your home are not exactly the cleanest part of your household right now. Not even if you flush a dash of chlorine through them every day. Chlorine is also very damaging to the environment or the septic tank, but that aside.
The bacteria in the pipes feast on the organic materials in the wastewater. Some (anaerobic) bacteria produce smelly gases like H2S (hydrogen sulphide) during this breakdown. H2S creates the typical rotten egg smell from the drain. You then smell the familiar sewer smell in your home.
How does the Anti-Sewage Odour in the House Package 1 work?
This special anti sewer smell in house package is specially designed for households that suffer from odour in the house. It contains two 100% organic products: Roebic K67 and K97. K67 is intended for the drains of the kitchen, dishwasher, bathroom and, for example, the scrub pit in the garage. K97 works in the main drain line and the house connection, where your pipe meets the municipal sewer.
- Roebic K67, contains good, aerobic bacteria. These bacteria break down grease, fouling, as well as hair and soap scum. Because they do this aerobically, no odour is produced. Because this breakdown is much faster than anaerobic breakdown, there is not enough food left for the odour-producing bacteria to cause odours in the house! Additional advantage: incipient blockages are dealt with immediately.
- Roebic K97 is flushed down the toilet and ensures that the main drain line to the house connection can no longer cause odour problems. It also ensures that this pipe is less likely to clog.

What can affect the effectiveness of the package?
Don’t mix with chlorine-based cleaners! These will nullify the effect.
If there is broken piping or serious technical defects then this package will probably only be partially effective.
Is the packaging recyclable?
Yes, the packaging is recyclable. We have chosen to provide more and more products with new environmentally sustainable packaging. Because of this, the bottle may differ from the original image above. Our new bottles are made of 100% recycled plastic. How do I use the anti sewer smell in the house package 1?
- Shake all products well before use.
- Divide half a bottle K67 about at most 5 drain the house at night before going to bed. Repeat 3 times.
- Dose a quarter of a bottle K97 in the toilet and flush once before going to sleep.
- You can prevent many problems by carrying out this treatment annually.
