Peristaltic pump Microdos MP2-R
The MP2-R peristaltic pump is an excellent dosing pump if a (chemical) liquid needs to be dosed with some regularity. The sturdy housing and Santoprene peristaltic hose ensure that this pump is perfectly suited to its task. The continuously adjustable flow allows for precise adjustment. The supplied pressure and suction hose, the suction filter and injection nipple make sure you can get started right away.
Depending on the version, this peristaltic pump can up to 20 litres per hourly dosing. The maximum pressure is, depending on the execution, 3 bar. See the technical specifications for the various versions.
This pump can be included in a control system by switching the standard 230 volt supply voltage.
For continuous running is this peristaltic pump ill-suited.
The Santoprene hose is resistant to a diverse range of chemicals, including chlorine and various acids. The peristaltic hose should be checked regularly and possibly replaced. These replacement hoses can be found in our webshop.
At additional cost is a silicone hose available.

Can I dose chlorine with this peristaltic pump?
This is possible. For higher concentrations, however, it is wise to purchase a PVDF injection valve and foot filter.
Can I dose acid with this peristaltic pump?
The santoprene hose is suitable for various acids. Want to know for sure? Please contact us and we will help you further.
What is non-continuous operation? How long can the peristaltic pump run then?
This dosing pump will last the longest if it is run for approximately 15 minutes per hour. Longer is possible, but it will shorten the life of the pump and peristaltic tubing. Several hours in a row is really not recommended. In that case you better choose a diaphragm dosing pump.
How often should I change the peristaltic hose?
This depends on the use and the liquid you are dispensing. The hose is better suited for some products than others. In any case, it is a good idea to replace the hose annually to avoid problems.
What is the maximum suction height of this dosing pump?
The flow is guaranteed up to a suction height of 2 metres. However, this pump can suck up to 6 metres. This is at the expense of the maximum flow.
Which hose should I use where?
The hard tube is for the suction side. The pump will not be able to draw a vacuum on it. The soft, more flexible tube can be used on the dosing side.
