DWT-Septic+ | Bio-Septic Tank Bacteria for Maintenance.
The familiar septic tank bacteria, but packaged with 90% less plastic. Contents 1 kg. DWT-Septic+ is the replacement for Bio-Seton, with the familiar composition.
DWT-Septic+ is designed for the heavily loaded septic tank or new systems. It is a product with a tremendous amount of bacteria. These support the bacteria in your septic tank. It improves efficiency and degradation in the tank. This results in less sludge in the tank, a cleaner discharge and less to no odor nuisance.
DWT-Septic+ is a biological, non-toxic and non-harmful product. It is specifically designed for the maintenance of fouled or nuisance septic tanks or STPs. The product works with aerobic microorganisms that are sporulated on a mineral carrier. A natural process, as it were a kind of hibernation. One gram of DWT-Septic+ contains an enormous amount, over 100,000 microorganisms, which are 100% intact due to the sporulation technique. This is in contrast to many other methods such as freeze drying in which less than 10% of the microorganisms survive.
By switching to new packaging, we can reduce the amount of plastic used by approximately 90%. The cardboard can go with the waste paper, and the plastic end caps can go with the plastic waste.
What is DWT-Septic+ suitable for?
DWT-Septic+ is very effective in reactivating contaminated septic tanks. The product is not water soluble and will need to be dosed weekly into kitchen or toilet drains. The product comes into contact with water which immediately makes the microorganisms 100% active. Bio-Septic + will then find its way to the septic tank or STP . Once there, the microorganisms will start breaking down the excess sludge, as this sludge is food for them. Because this breakdown takes place in an aerobic manner, the septic tank or STP will give less or no odor nuisance and the efficiency is improved, which reduces the impact on the environment.
An additional advantage of using Bio-Septic+ is that the plumbing in, for example, the kitchen will be less clogged with grease since this will also be broken down by the micro-organisms.
How much DWT-Septic+ do I need for my septic tank or STP?
DWT-Septic+, formerly Bio-Septic+, comes in a jar with a capacity of 1 kilo. A family with 5 people will use about 1 to 1.5 kg per year.
Difference DWT-Septic and DWT-Septic+ for use in the septic tank?
Both products are ideally suited for maintenance, odor elimination and prevention in septic tanks and STPs. The aerobic micro-organisms are very effective in breaking down organic material without releasing odors.
The standard DWT-Septic contains approximately 10,000 bacteria per gram.
For heavily loaded, or already odor-causing septic tanks, there is DWT-Septic+. This product contains an enormous amount of microorganisms, approximately 100,000 per gram. In combination with the unique production method, DWT-Septic+ is a very effective product for the maintenance and support of your septic tank or STP.

What can affect the functioning of DWT-Septic+?
In the case of a septic tank or STP, be careful with cleaning agents containing chlorine! These can seriously disrupt the biology in the tank.
What is the difference between DWT Bio-Septic products and other products on the market?
Apart from the fact that DWT-Septic is a very effective mix of bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms, the method of production is unique.Many bacterial products are freeze-dried together with a carrier material after culturing. This method is simple and cost-effective. However, a large proportion of microorganisms do not survive this method. This can be detrimental to effectiveness.
DWT-septic products are made differently.
The bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms are grown under ideal conditions. A natural carrier material is then added to this mix. After this, the conditions are made extremely unpleasant for the bacteria. These respond by adhering to the carrier material.
The great advantage is that this is a natural response to stressful conditions. Bacteria can sustain this stage for many years. Once conditions are right again (once they enter an aqueous environment), the bacteria will be able to reactivate very quickly. This is good news because it means they can clean your septic tank or STP very quickly!
How do I use DWT-Septic+?
Start-up period: distribute 10 grams per person per week once over drains such as toilet and kitchen.
After 15 weeks: distribute 5 grams per person per week over drains such as toilet and kitchen.
Calculation example: You have a family of 4 and you discharge to an STP of about 3,000 liters. During the first 15 weeks you dose 40 grams per week in the toilet. After the start-up period of 15 weeks you scale back the dosage and flush 20 grams per week down the toilet.
