Floating Inlet for Rainwater Tank
Floating Inlet for Rainwater Tank
Looking for a flexible floating suction for your tank? Look no further! This set of floating suction consists of a brass tank bushing, along with an extended thread to ensure proper fixation. In addition, the rainwater hose has a pressed coupling to prevent air suction. To avoid leaks, the float is also produced in one piece. The special tank penetration, with the flexible hose, prevents friction forces. This ensures watertightness even after several years.
What parts does this floating suction set consist of?
The intake hose has several options in terms of lengths and intake baskets:
- The intake is available in 2 and 3 meters in length.
- Apart from this, there are also two types of suction baskets, namely the Twist and the Saff. The Twist has a coarse mesh size of 1mm, making it particularly suitable for rainwater systems with a Trident pre-filter. The Saff has a fine mesh size of 0.44mm, making it more suitable for a system without an installed pre-filter.
The area of application
When applying the floating suction, the water is sucked in 15 cm below the water level. In fact, in that area there is the purest water in a tank. In case of a possible low water level, the hose length prevents the intake basket from landing on the bottom.
