Bio-Recup+ is a highly effective, organic product in a completely plastic-free package. It works on the basis of non-pathogenic bacteria and microorganisms. These break down the organic material in the rainwater tank in a way that does not release odors. It thus counteracts odor from the water. Because Bio-Recup+ is completely biological and does not contain any biocides, you can use the water without any objections for e.g. laundry, toilet flushing and watering the garden. The product can also be used in the rain barrel.
In addition, the product can reduce the formation of algae. It does this by taking away the food for the algae. This allows the algae to grow less well. The product does not kill the algae, so some patience is required.
The package contains 150 grams. The usage is simple, you dose a few tablespoons (15 grams) of Bio-Recup+ to your tank. The exact amount you need depends on the size. For the dosage, look under the tab: Manual.
This product is 100% organic and has no danger label. Keep out of reach of children, of course.

No, these products are completely organic and contain no chemicals. This makes them hazard label-free. Of course, it is always wise to keep this product out of the reach of children.
How much do I need for my rainwater tank?
This depends on the size of your rainwater tank or rain barrel. Look for the dosage under the tab: Manual.
Can I use Bio-recup + the whole year?
It is not necessary. Especially for in the warmer months the product is recommended.
Does it break down all the waste in my rain barrel?
Bio-Recup+ is made in such a way that it breaks down almost all the organic material that is in the tank. However, they cannot break down sand.
Can I use the water from my tank as drinking water for my animals?
Our product is not harmful or toxic, but use as drinking water, including for animals, is not recommended.
How do I use Bio-Recup+?
The maintenance dosage is recommended for the warmer months, in winter it is not necessary.
Does your rainwater tank give off a lot of odor? Then it is recommended to temporarily dose a little more. This will not hurt the tank or the use of the water.
How to dose?
There are two ways to dose this product:
- Directly into the tank: Spread the product evenly over the surface of the water.
- Through the pipes: First, mix the product with water in a separate container. Stir thoroughly (note that the product does not dissolve) and then add it into the pipes.
