Are Marcel's Green Soap products biodegradable?
All Marcel's Green Soap products are 99% biodegradable. By biodegradable we mean that the entire product breaks down into CO₂ and water within 28 days. Marcel's Green Soap products also contain salts, among other things. These are used to regulate the pH level, to dissolve dirt and also to slightly thicken the formula. Salts can never be broken down into water and CO₂, hence the 99%.
Is this laundry detergent suitable for a septic tank?
Yes, you can use this laundry detergent if you have a septic tank. The detergent cannot harm the bacterial culture in your tank.
