Roebic Trap Sak TS-2
Roebic Trap Sak TS-2 | Biological Maintenance Product for Grease Traps
Long-acting product that releases slow-acting aerobic micro-organisms that break down grease and tackle odour to the core
Almost every catering establishment has a grease trap. In the grease trap, grease is quickly broken down. This causes odour. Sometimes this smell also comes outside the grease trap. This is dirty, inconvenient and can even cost customers. Fortunately, there is a 100% organic solution.
Roebic Trap Sak offers the solution!
Using good bacteria, the odour is removed naturally. The bad bacteria are eliminated. The grease becomes softer and easier to vacuum away. Blockages in and after the grease trap are also prevented.
What is the Roebic Trap Sak?
The Trap Sak is a water-soluble “candle” that continuously releases micro-organisms to the water in the grease trap. These break down grease and dirt in an odourless manner. As a result, the grease trap runs better and will smell much less.
The Roebic Trap Sak is suspended in the first compartment of the grease trap. This element contains a huge amount of good bacteria. The element slowly dissolves in the grease trap, releasing the bacteria.
How long does the Roebic Trap Sak last?
After installation, a a candle lasts about 30-50 days. They are usually completely dissolved and worked out by then. We recommend replacing the Trap Sak element after this time.
What size grease trap is the Roebic Trap Sak suitable for?
The TS element is suitable for grease separators up to 750 litres. If the grease separator is heavily contaminated or causes a lot of odour nuisance and can hold more than 500 litres, you can also hang 2 units at a time.
How do I install this product?
You can do the installation yourself in 5 minutes. Using a small drill, drill a shallow hole on the inside of the first compartment. Where the dirty water enters. Screw a hook into the hole and hang the Trap Sak element from it, so that the element hangs underwater. You have installed the element and can let the candle do the work.
Prefer not to drill a hole? Then you can also hang the element on a string. In that case, make sure the lid still closes properly.
