This highly effective, biological product combats odors and can delay and facilitate grease trap emptying. It works on the basis of (non-pathogenic) microorganisms that feed on food residues and fats, in a way that does not release odors. Performing weekly treatment through various drains will address odors and blockages here as well.

Does Bio-Septic FOG Grease Separator Maintenance have a hazard label?
Despite the fact that it is an organic product without chemicals, you should still take into account the following hazard labels:
- H319: Causes serious eye irritation.
- P102: Keep out of the reach of children.
Do I still need to take certain cleaning products into account?
For almost all tanks that work with bacteria that break down the waste substances in the water, you must be very careful with the use of products that contain chlorine. These often have a bactericidal effect and influence the working of the bacteria that break down the fat and sludge in the grease separator.
How do I use Bio-Septic FOG Grease Pit Maintenance?
Once you have Bio-Septic FOG in place, you should do the following to restore your grease trap to top condition.
- Week 1: Dose 50-100 grams per day every evening.
- Weeks after: dose weekly.
Every situation is slightly different, but the chart below provides some guidance:
- Up to 100 meals per day: 50 grams per week
- 100 to 500 meals per day: 100-300 grams per week
- 500 to 1000 meals per day: 350-500 grams per week
- More than 1000 meals per day: at least 500 grams per week
Note: As little mixing with detergents as possible. This reduces the effectiveness because it kills the bacteria in the product. The longer the soaking time, the better the results. For example, are you closed on Monday? Then dose this product on Sunday evening after cleaning.
